What is the procedure like?
During a CoolPeel procedure, your skin is cleansed, and protective eyewear is applied. You will feel a mild tingling or warmth as the laser passes over your skin, with some describing it as a "rubber band snap". Most patients do not require numbing, but please feel free to ask for it. The treatment can be regarded as a ''lunchtime procedure'' as treating the whole face takes around 30 min.
What to expect during recovery?
You can expect to have some redness for a day or two. Straight after the procedure, you will feel a warm, sunburn-like sensation for about an hour. Your skin will feel rough like sandpaper for 3-4 days post treatment, but nothing should prevent you from returning to your normal daily activities. The already minimal downtime can be shortened even more by adding PRP to your treatment to boost the skin's recovery processes.
