What are skin peels?
A skin peel, also known as a chemical peel, is a procedure where a solution of a single or a mixture of acids is applied to the skin to improve its tone, colour and texture. Many different acids, and their combinations, exist and each has its particular indications such as fine line and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation or acne.
EasyTCA® peel
EasyTCA® is a medium depth peel indicated for treatment of the early signs of photo-aging, which include fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, loss of firmness, hyperpigmentation and sun spots, as well as addressing post-acne scarring and melasma. Bright Peel by Fillmed®
This gentle superficial peel is designed to brighten and lighten the complexion and with repeated use helps to improve pigmentation. A radiant glow a visible immediately after the first session. It is a great peel to start with to combat the first signs of aging or to bring back skin's luminosity after the summer. The full treatment schedule entails 4 sessions, each spaced out by 2 weeks. Mesopeel® Modified Jessner peel
This classic peel, with its combination of salicylic, lactic and citric acids, effectively exfoliates dead skin cells, unclogs pores, controls oil production and has an anti-inflammatory effect, making it an ideal peel for patients suffering from acne. The peel also increases the thickness of the dermis, thereby improving the appearance of fine lines.
