Dry skin is an issue for everyone at some point in life. Some simply have a dry skin type, others suffer from tight flaky skin during the winter months. Dryness can also be a result of improper skin care causing impairment of the protective skin barrier and it can accompany certain diseases like eczema or hypothyroidism.
